Travel to Eton Dorney Olympics course
The London 2012 Olympics rowing and sprint canoeing were held at Eton Dorney rowing lake. The organisers had to make elaborate travel arrangements, which were very successful. They built a bridge across the Thames to Windsor racecourse, used that as a transport hub, with buses from nearby railway stations. They also provided a number of park and ride facilities.
