Part of Bourne War Memorial Garden. The bank to the right is the base of the curtain wall of Bourne Castle's inner bailey. As the inner bailey moat, this water was three times this width. It remains now, as it was also the castle's mill pool and the mill's usefulness outlived that of the castle. This photo was taken on Christmas Day 2003.
