NS1900 : St Donan's Chapel Ruin

taken 12 years ago, near to Dipple, South Ayrshire, Scotland

St Donan's Chapel Ruin
St Donan's Chapel Ruin
This little chapel, located a little to the north of Girvan, is now ruined and overgrown. There's an access gate to the site, but the tall nettles are unwelcoming at this time of the year. St Donan was an early Irish missionary who gave his name to many places in the west of Scotland.
