Barmishaw Stone, Ilkley Moor
A series of motifs are seen on the surface of the stone: cups, cup and rings, and ladders (often joined to a cup and ring at one end). A largenumber of carved rocks can be found across Ilkley Moor. They date to the Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age (some 4000 years ago).
