Seen from the A436 road is the driveway to the farmhouse. The large notice by the left gate pier is the official notice that the footpath has been diverted. The footpath formerly ran along the driveway and past the front door of Westfield farmhouse. For some years there had been a plea by the farmer to walkers to use an unofficial diversion around the house.
