NG5639 : Raasay hill path

taken 6 years ago, near to Balmeanach, Highland, Great Britain

Raasay hill path
Raasay hill path
Looking down towards Balachuirn from the hill path that links the road with Dun Caan. This is a far better path than the more direct route to Dun Caan from Inverarish, being well graded, easy to follow and dry. This route down to the ferry terminal may be slightly longer than the other path, but there are splendid views and much variety once lower ground is reached.
