Bolton Co-operative Society Drapery Store
The store is a 1904 replacement for the short-lived 1900 building of very similar design which was burnt down. The building was designed by the local firm Bradshaw and Gass and is profusely decorated in red terracotta supplied by Henry Dennis' Hafod Red Brick Works in Ruabon.
Since being relinquished by the Co-op many years ago it ended up as the local Electricity Board offices and finally the NHS Prescription Pricing Authority. Following a major refurbishment in the early part of 2012, it reopened as up-to-date office accommodation for rent. The building also houses an Art Gallery and bistro.
