King's Cliffe Airfield, Station 367
Memorial to American, British, Belgian and Commonwealth flyers from the Second World War. The near wing is shaped like a USAAF plane, the far one like an RAF Spitfire. Many different insignia are carved into the Portland limestone [which I first thought was concrete]. The RAF flag hangs to the west, and the USAAF one [unseen] to the east.
