Cliff fall west of Abbot's Cliff, nr Dover
Cliff fall west of Abbot's Cliff, nr Dover
The appearance of the White Cliffs a few weeks after a fairly large collapse of part of the cliff. This collapse took with it the circular stone top of one of the air shafts to Abbot's Cliff railway tunnel. Its remains can be seen at the foot of the cliff in the middle; the yellow is expanding foam which presumably had been used earlier to block the airshaft.
