Rock face at Harriet
Rock face at Harriet
This rockface is very popular with climbers as it is easily accessible. The flat area immediately above the face was the Mills area which up to 1870 was the site of the Quarry yard, the yard being the site of smithies, offices, steam engine etc. In later years two large slate sawing mills were erected on the site.
