SH3735 : Tail of Pwllheli Fish

taken 5 years ago, near to Pwllheli, Gwynedd, Great Britain

Tail of Pwllheli Fish
Tail of Pwllheli Fish
Artwork installed August 2011 as part of the Pwllheli regeneration scheme. The head of the "fish" LinkExternal link created by Benjamin Storch is on the pavement NE of the Maes roundabout (behind the photographer), the tail may be found on the SW side. Apparently the design was based on drawings by students of various ages - it certainly doesn't resemble any fish I have seen but is, nonetheless, quite attractive. My daughter's comment about the tail, "It's facing the wrong way."
