St. Botolph's
Originally built on an island that was in the middle of the Alde estuary, the land around the church was drained and dried out between the 12th-15thC. The present church dates from the 15thC, although the nave may be earlier. The roof of which was burnt off in 1968, but has subsequently been repaired.
