The Hopton Incline on the High Peak Trail
The Hopton Incline on the High Peak Trail
Bridleway following the course of the former Cromford and High Peak Railway. A gradient of 1 in 14 was a tough challenge for the locomotives scaling this hill and several attempts were often required to reach this point.
