Part of dwelling hewn out of sandstone rock
Part of dwelling hewn out of sandstone rock
This is situated on Cannock Chase near to Wolseley Bridge. It would appear that it did not go far into the rock. There is evidence of a lean-to roof, now gone, and of a chimney.
