Museum of the Gorge, Ironbridge - steam engine
This is one of the ten sites under the care of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust and is in a former warehouse. Near the entrance is this tiny horizontal single cylinder steam engine by The Bryan Donkin Co Ltd, Chesterfield. This company made engines for gasworks and this is almost certainly from such an establishment and was passed to the museum by a private collector.
