Tarradale Quarry

This quarry is marked on the OS maps as "disused". I don't know how long it has been disused for, but the area is now covered in bushes, grass and trees.

Red sandstone from this quarry was used for a number of buildings in and around Muir of Ord. The quarry was once owned by Duncan Logan, whose family firm became one of the largest construction companies in the area.
