TL2330 : Lane to Willian from the Old Great North Rd

near to Willian, Hertfordshire, Great Britain

Lane to Willian from the Old Great North Rd.
Lane to Willian from the Old Great North Rd.
The Old Great North Road used to be a roman road and is still pretty straight. Part of the route from York to London ridden by Dick Turpin. It is now less grandly known as the B197. Note the stile and gate, the gate shaped to prevent vehicles accessing the lane but low enough for horses to step over.
