Pens with Zwartbles sheep

A speciality flock of these Dutch sheep have been brought to the pens at North Port O'Spittal Farm, whose buildings are seen in the background across the minor road. Nearest the camera are pure-breeds, while the smaller animals in the far pen are cross-breeds. The Zwartbles has a dark fleece which is almost black in these recently-shorn animals.
