The sign reads: "This machinery is automatic and may start without warning". It is not referring to automatic heather or automatic grass, but is a somewhat unnecessary sign relating to the nearby Edinbane windfarm. Thankfully, the windfarm roads are fully open for public access, and there are only very few health and safety signs dotted about.
