SH5960 : The abrupt end of the Morgan-Sinc Galed 'lefal'

taken 11 years ago, near to Dinorwig, Gwynedd, Great Britain

The abrupt end of the Morgan-Sinc Galed 'lefal'.
The abrupt end of the Morgan-Sinc Galed 'lefal'.
There is no shortage of access tunnels at Dinorwig, in fact a team of dedicated rock miners were used to mine new ones to provide access/drainage to the ever-deepening sincs, leaving the old ones abandoned. Most tunnels therefore end abruptly above sheer and deadly drops.
