Beware, trains crossing
Beware, trains crossing
This road sign on Station Road remains in situ some 40 years after the railway closed. The North Warwickshire line ran from Honeybourne to Birmingham Snow Hill, a route comprised of four sections built by different companies over a period of fifty-five years. The stub of the line from Honeybourne now serves only the former MOD's Central Engineer Park - a Royal Engineers depot at Long Marston. There is much detail of the line at: LinkExternal link
