Former railway cottage on Bell's Drove, taken 5 years ago
The cottage used to be a crossing keeper's house on the railway line from Magdalen Road (now Watlington) station > LinkExternal link to Wisbech. Coming from the station, the line crossed Bell's Drove in a wide curve, passing to the right of the cottage, from where it headed west first crossing the Relief Channel and then the River Great Ouse, a short distance to the south of Magdalen Bridge. The line was closed in 1968.
