Unusual Flora
Unusual Flora
The plants are growing in the sea defence medium at the foot of Mappleton Cliffs. Normally, they wouldn't have time to establish themselves on the beach of this crumbling coastline before they are washed away. Because the artificial sea defences are pretty resilient to coastal erosion, plants not normally found at this part of the coastline are having time to establish themselves!
