Dismantled Cambridge to St Ives railway line
The railway line between Cambridge and St Ives ceased operation completely around 1970. The tracked still exists as far as the fence and gate in this picture. From here on to St Ives it has been dismantled and the track-bed is partly used as a road. In 2007 work starts on a guided bus-way using the disused/dismantled track bed.
