This beach shows the characteristic features of this stretch of coastline with a wave-cut platform, a storm beach of grey sandstone pebbles, and steep cliffs of heavily folded and faulted beds of alternating sandstone and mudstone sedimentary rocks. Beyond lie Litter Mouth and Marsland Mouth.
