Cycle racks on Crewe station
Several examples of a contemporary design of cycle stand, on platform 5 and sheltered under the A534 road bridge.
Crewe railway station
This railway station, opened in 1837, was once among the busiest in the world and has passed into folklore. It is still a significant railway junction, where the trunk line from London Euston splits into three branches for North Wales, Manchester and the main line continuing to Warrington (where the Liverpool branch leaves the main line). To the south there are lines to Stoke/Derby and Shrewsbury/Cardiff.
