Pencaer landscape
The small fields and scattered farmsteads of this windswept promontory are dominated by the twin eminences of Garn Fawr, crowned by the rocky ramparts of its Iron Age fortifications, overlooking the sea to the west and the smaller Garn Fechan outcrop across a saddle of land further east. Even on a misty January days they create an impressive skyline.
