Junction of Stoke Road and Longpark Hill
Junction of Stoke Road and Longpark Hill
Longpark Hill drops down from the Teignmouth Road A379 near Maidencombe then climbs up to meet the A379 again, cutting off a big bend. Stoke Road continues ahead to Higher Gabwell, Lower Gabwell and Stokeinteignhead. The tall tree in the centre of the picture is Monterey Cypress, commonly planted around the southwest coast; it was a parent of Leyland Cypress.
