Corporation Bridge, Grimsby
Corporation Bridge, Grimsby
The rolling lift road bridge, built in 1925 by Alfred C Gardner, replaces an earlier swing bridge. It carries the busy Corporation Road, over the Alexandra Dock. Seldom used since the decline of the fishing industry. Probably the last time it opened was to let the MV Ross Tiger (GY398), into the dock.
