Old quarry on Brock's Hill
Old quarry on Brock's Hill
One wonders what the purpose of this sandstone quarry was as there are no nearby buildings and no drystone walls. Maybe the stone was used to construct the original bridge over Mirk Fell Gill some 800m further west.
