The interior of TQ1649 : Dorking, St Martin's Church.

The mediæval chancel was rebuilt between 1866 and 1868 in a 14th century style. The East Window contains scenes from the Resurrection and the Passion. The reredos has a central panel of English alabaster, into which are placed a gilt brass crucifix and stone symbols of the Evangelists. To either side are stone panels, one with the figures of angels, the other with saints.
