SJ2860 : A Capped Well

taken 11 years ago, near to Leeswood, Flintshire/Sir y Fflint, Great Britain

A Capped Well
A Capped Well
This old well, shown on the 1881 O.S.map, presumably provided fresh water for the workmen in the large excavation in the trees behind. Although the hole in the ridge is shown in 1881, it is not identified.
