. The passage at the near end of the building leads through to the Bull Hotel and serves as a useful walking route from Upper Linney to Corve Street.
Beyond is The Reader's House. Mainly dating from the 16th century, although with older stonework, it was originally built by Ludlow bookseller John Dalton. In the 18th century it became the home of the parish Reader, a role in St Laurence's Church, hence the name by which the house is now known. It is grade I listed - for listing particulars see Link
