NZ1830 : Weardale Way west of Escomb

near to Escomb, County Durham, Great Britain

Weardale Way west of Escomb
Weardale Way west of Escomb
The Weardale Way is seen heading towards the village of Escomb which is out of view, though buildings in the town of Bishop Auckland can be seen. The pools which lie south of the River Wear are probably the result of the flooding of old gravel pits.
