taken 12 years ago, near to Damnaglaur, Dumfries And Galloway, Scotland

McIntyre's Hill
McIntyre's Hill
The summit of McIntyre's Hill has this rudimentary cairn to celebrate reaching the magical height of 161m, which is shared by so many of the high points of the South Rhins. The distant horizon is formed by Barncorkrie Moor, Cairn Fell (164m) and Inshanks Fell (164m). Farm buildings at Inshanks can be seen in the left of the image.
