Cotswold Way path through Pen Wood
Cotswold Way path through Pen Wood
This stretch of the Cotswold Scarp is heavily wooded, in common with many steep limestone slopes. The Cotswold Way is following the scarp here, though just round the next bend it descends to Middleyard and Kings Stanley before crossing the Frome.
