History on Holburn Street
Victorian Fidler's Well on Aberdeen's Holburn Street, opposite Hollybank Place. The stone water trough is dedicated to Dr William Guild who died 1657. It is topped by a cast iron Victorian pump like many of those remaining at nearby Fittie. The ensemble was paid for by Alexander Fidler.
