Not to be confused with the school of the same name in nearby Bridgemary, Holbrook Primary School was situated where the SU5902 : Holbrook Recreation Centre has been standing since 1976. The school was formerly used by the British Army in World War II and was one of three Anti-Aircraft gun sites in Gosport, for some information on these gun sites see Link

. At the time time of these submissions the Holbrook Recreation Centre is being demolished and will be replaced with a hotel.
