Church of St Michael, at Upton Warren, is a grade II* listed building (Link British Listed Buildings).

It is difficult to be precise about exactly when the church was built and over the years it will have changed. A Church probably existed here at the time of the Domesday Book survey, but was rebuilt towards the end of the thirteenth century, and consecrated in 1300. It is thought the tower was erected in the 14th century, although the lower windows are later 14th century. The windows in the remainder of the church with their 'Y' tracery are clearly of a period later than the mediaeval tower.

The present building largely dates from the 1700s. The whole structure except the tower was rebuilt in the eighteenth century, the chancel being rebuilt in 1724 and the nave in 1798.
