NO2350 : A windy day on top of the Hill of Alyth

near to Bamff, Perth And Kinross, Great Britain

A windy day on top of the Hill of Alyth
A windy day on top of the Hill of Alyth
The Hill of Alyth is a wonderful ridge of rough grassland on and around the 300m mark. There are many knolls of which this one at the western end is the highest with a 300m ring contour but no trig point or spot height. The 295m trig point on a slightly lower eastern summit is just visible. A stiff breeze is riffling the long grasses (and Ali's hair).
