taken 11 years ago, 3 km from Culcronchie, Dumfries And Galloway, Great Britain

Boggy clearing
Boggy clearing
A section of line between the road and the closed railway. This has not been planted and shows typical Galloway granite bog vegetation. Tussocky grass and bog myrtle. The dyke is a relic from sheep farming days.
