Totnes - former water turbine
A water turbine lying on its side in the grounds of the former Town Mill. This three-storey corn mill is thought to be 18th century and was disused for 60 years until its renovation in 1996.
The turbine looks like a 'Little Giant' type with inwards flow centrally and exhaust through vents at top and bottom. A working example may be seen at Caudwell's Mill, Rowsley - SK2565 : Little Giant Turbine.
