NM8566 : Fee Donald Lead Mine
5 km from Scotstown, Highland, Great Britain

Fee Donald Lead Mine
The ruins of some sort of bund, built below the main workings.
Fee Donald Lead Mine
The mines are situated beside the Allt Feith Dhomnuill on the slopes of Sgurr Dhomhnuill. Also known as the Feith Dhomhnuill Mines but misnamed as Bellsgrove Mines on the OS maps. The mines were worked intermittently from about 1720 employing labour from south of the Border as far away as Cornwall. This explains why most of the names are English.
