Bus Stop sign on South Promenade. The notice below the sign informs that no buses now stop here. Until 2011 there used to a be service from St Annes to Lytham via Fairhaven on Bank Holidays and summer Sundays that stopped here. The service which used a vintage open-top bus no longer operates.

The bus-stop on this side of the road is a modern one whilst the one of the opposite slightly further down is an old style sign SD3228 : Old Bus Stop.
