A Royal Navy Sea King search and rescue (SAR) helicopter from HMS Gannet at Prestwick is pictured near Ettrick Bay. The helicopter was part of a series of aviation-related displays as part of the 'Baird Of Bute Festival'. The festival is held to commemorate Andrew Blain Baird's first all-Scottish, heavier-than-air powered flight, which took place at Ettrick Bay in September, 1910.
