Fersit
Fersit
A collection of houses either side of the railway. Once this was a busy community of several hundred folk with its own railway station. This was for a brief time in the 1930's when the Lochaber Aluminium Smelter was being built. Fersit was the centre of operations for the two hydroelectric dams at Treig and Laggan.
