Keeping their heads above water
Keeping their heads above water
The days of these cabbages are numbered...but will they be beheaded or drown in Piddle first?
With most of the rest of the field harvested only a small proportion remain to be cut. The recent rain means Piddle Brook is much closer than normal. The irrigation pipe running towards the shed from the cabbages is not likely to be used for a few months yet.
