SO9140 : Road approaching Strensham church

taken 12 years ago, near to Strensham, Worcestershire, England

Road approaching Strensham church
Road approaching Strensham church
Strensham church is isolated from the village of Strensham due to the village relocating after the Black Death in the fourteenth century. Here it is viewed from the road approaching it. The church tower is a prominent feature standing on high ground above the River Avon and can be seen for a number of miles around. I have even viewed it through binoculars from Clee Hill in Shropshire.
