Dalradian Rocks
Dalradian Rocks
The near-vertical rocks here are phyllites, resulting from metamorphism of mudstones many hundreds of million of years ago. To their landward is a raised beach, evidence of changes in the relative levels of land and sea since the last Ice Age.
