These two drams recreate the industrial heritage of this locality, as depicted in books like Alexander Cordell's 'Rape of the Fair Country' and a time during the 19th century when countless wagons and drams were used here to carry quarried and mined mineral resources to the nearby canal for transfer to barge or narrowboat and shipment to a waiting world.
